EH&S Professional Education
OUR VISION
The EH&S Professional Education program cross-trains UC safety professionals by expanding their knowledge and skills in a variety of EH&S programs applicable to the university setting. After completing the EH&S Generalist online modules, participants are eligible to enroll in the EH&S Professional in-person workshop, and to complete the EH&S Specialist online learning track(s). This blended learning experience encourages retention and growth by providing systemwide opportunities for professional development and continuing education.

The UC Risk & Safety Training department develops systemwide training, distributes courses, maintains a central repository, evaluates impacts, and standardizes education initiatives for risk, environmental health, and safety issues. We produce training in a variety of blended formats; including online (eLearning), instructor-led, tutorials (video), and webinars. Services provided include consultation on training requests, customization, hybrid courses, instructional design, learning management system (LMS) implementation support, photography, videography, and source training materials (curation).
